So I meant to do a podcast yesterday
but things got busy and ran away
I had to help my wife with sending off presents
it was like the North Pole here without the little peasants
I mean the little elves they are not at peasant level
they help out Santa Clause and he give them a medal
if they work overtime because he feels bad that they're used
way more than any little elf should be abused
and aren't elves magical?  You don't want to tick off someone with magic.
Then you'll get a spell put on you that's
why Santa Clause is very fat.

Today we hear from The Brewmaster, Benita the Rodeo Queen, and the Disgruntled Fiddle Player, PLUS we bring you the segment MIKE MAKES MUSIC where I will debut my new song and also new Christmas song for you to love called "Front Yard Christmas Display!"

Tomorrow we'll bring you the segment WOW, SCHATZ, WOW!  Plus we'll hear from Madame Rootabega, Valentino the Parking Attendant, and Bison Bentley: three people who have irritated Santa's elves and are now on constant elf watch.  One of those green little guys could sneak down their chimney and kill them in their sleep.  And what ever you do, don't feed them after midnight!  Gosh, that was a good movie.

So Christmas Day's just a week away
time to shop or those us who procrastinate
actually you have a whole week left
that means a bunch of time to waste yet
you could just find more interesting ways not to shop
you can avoid malls and massive parking lots
you can avoid the Internet because you can also shop there all day
if you're procrastinating that's the place you want to stay away
so that is the summation of the procrastinator's manual.  Use it for good, not evil.
Just asking have you bought a cheese log though?
That's one way to get rid of some of your hard earned dough.

Here it is Saturday and the world is still here
there's lots of Christmas shopping as it draws near
this morning I went to a Castro Valley breakfast place
my in-laws and I partook of the best food you'll ever taste
but then the rest of the day feels like your stuck in mud
and can't go anywhere I don't know how people do this stuff
I'm a light breakfast guy though they say every day you should spend
you should have your biggest meal at the start and smallest at the end
they also say you should never stick your finger in your ear so that's a lot to remember
so here is Saturday's sludgy show for you
if it slows down there's only so much I can do

So last night I watched The Biggest Loser finale
on Hulu because I had dillydallied
I usually am not a big fan of the show
I enjoyed seeing all their progress, though
the biggest loser had lost like 225 pounds
that's like the weight of several large hounds
the one who lost barely any weight still lost around thirty
she was voted off first so maybe her experience wasn't pirty
the people on this show were less annoying than usual.  Thanks my wife for converting me!
Now I need to go walk my dog, Basil,
that's my exercise and it's never a hassle!

So today I discovered something about Costco
that Thursday afternoons is the day to go
there were more sample servers than usual
serving all sorts of delicious foods for you all
I had some onion thing that was probably high in fat
but it tasted so good but I didn't buy any of that
I did see some smoked salmon they served on cracker
that would be great for a lot of people coming over and wanting a snack..er
then gas is cheapest there.  It beats Rotten Robbie's by 2 cents.  Wow freakin' wow!
so that's my grocery shopping report to you
just because I know this is what you really want to do...shop...fer groceries.

there is so much in today's show you won't want to pass
I watched a movie I last saw a long time ago
one called My Favorite Year that you probably don't know
it featured the actress that plays the mom in My Big Fat Greek Wedding
this was back in the 80's and she played a mom that's so upsetting
it also featured an old Peter O'Tool who is still alive
he must have be immortal because most people think he died
it also has the curly haired guy from that TV show Perfect Strangers so this is a quality movie!
I'm glad I get to see the weird old movies I see
with you because I'm sure you appreciate me!

Today we hear from Madame Rootabega, Valentino the Parking Attendant, and Bison Bentley, PLUS we won't bring you INTO AN INTERVIEW because the guest got too busy and shined me on.  Instead we will bring you what was supposed to be yesterday's segment WHY THE HELL DID I YELP THAT?

So last night I think I made a masterpiece
it was pork chops with a side of peas
no, there were no peas, I lied
I needed to invent a rhyming side
we made our own bread crumbs using a food processor
took some dried out bread and gave them the "what for"
then added some spices and used them on the chops
then threw them in the oven and it was like pulling out all the stops
we made some brown rice with it and if you heard yesterday's song you'll know why
so that's all that's really interesting to say today
that and now I'm over my pork chop crave...ing
