Today I walked my Boxer named Basil
near Alameda in a place that's razzle dazzle!
That place is called Harbor Bay Isle
and we met a couple dogs that brought to me a smile
we met a bulldog named Bo that had those out sticking bottom teeth
and we also met an Old English Sheepdog that was really neat
you don't so them much around any more with all the hair and no tail
Basil and her didn't get along but sometimes those dog meetings fail
my last dog was an Old English Sheepdog so it was so great to meet one again and to have Basil meet one.
hair wise boxers are the opposite of sheepdogs
not much too cut or have days to vacuum all...they just have these little hairs...that still get everywhere...fun.

Today we hear from Valentino the Parking Attendant, Bison Bentley, and Madame Rootabega, PLUS we bring you the segment THE PAM BAUMGARDNER FILES and on NEWS RANDOM is Downton Abbey the biggest TV show that NASCAR fans aren't watching?

Tomorrow we'll bring you the segment delayed from today MIKE's SCAVENGER HUNT where we search for a place I've been to...does that make sense?  Plus we'll hear from Chely Shoehart the Giftshop Supervisor, Floyd the Floorman, and John Deer the Engineer: three people that love all dogs...except the one's that knock on your door and ask if you've cultivated a relationship with Jesus.  Those dogs are just entirely too nosy...and annoying...but that's why the keep doing it.  The Lord said, "Be thy annoying!"

So the podcast had a mini two day vacation
I hope you didn't think I abandoned my vocation
Yesterday was a huge get the taxes done day
Sunday was beautiful more than words can say
I noticed on facebook everyone posting scenic photo's
of how sunny the day was along the west coast
we ended up in Oakland at Lake Merritt
Basil the Boxer walked us till we couldn't bare it
it's a scenic 3 mile walk entirely around and you're in the heart of Oakland.  Makes for very interesting people watching.
So I guess I didn't get to comment on the recent SNL
with Lindsay Lohan collagened all to hell...what happened to our little Lindsay?  Herbie would be so the opposite of proud.

Today we hear from Benita the Rodeo Queen, the Disgruntled Fiddle Player, and John Deer the Engineer, PLUS we bring you the segment THE MIKELOPEDIA INSANICA and on NEWS RANDOM, the battle over Bully.

So yesterday we were pretty stressed out
with tornadoes coming close to our old house
we rent a house out in Alabama
and like last year we had tornado drama
lucky for us it missed our home
unfortunately others were damaged a mile or so
away from us and we wish them the best
this time of year is so hard on the South and the Mid West
and having grown up in California, I'll take a tornado over an earthquake any day.  Isn't that strange?
When we lived in Alabama and had a tornado watch
we wouldn't sleep all night and the lightning we'd watch...one flash after another...never saw that in California.

Today we hear from Chely Shoehart the Giftshop Supervisor, Floyd the Floorman, and John Deer the Engineer, PLUS we bring you the segment WHAT's THE CLICHE OF THE WEEK?  And on NEWS RANDOM, Adele controversy!

So have I mentioned how much I like
watching tv on the Internet night after night
you can watch a lot more than on a roku
cause you can go anywhere the net lets you
we watch on pbs.org this show called History Detectives
and they have 9 seasons of shows and they give
3 stories each week where people search for never mind
I can't sing about this now cuz I'm running out of time
so what is better hulu, roku, or tivo?  Tivo may be the best quality, I must concede
but have fun keeping the fast forward button down
when you have a million commercials to get around...hulu only does 2 a break...roku is just a weird name.

Today we hear from Madame Rootabega, Valentino the Parking Attendant, and Bison Bentley, PLUS we bring you the segment MIKE ON MOBILE and on NEWS RANDOM, that ol' wind, a blessing and a curse!

Tomorrow we'll bring you the segment WHAT's THE CLICHE OF THE WEEK?  Plus we'll hear from Chely Shoehart the Giftshop Supervisor, Floyd the Floorman, and John Deer the Engineer: three people that bought a roku because they thought they were being so leading edge in the world of technology.  What they ended up being was completely wasteful because all they use it for now is a door stop.  Some people read the instructions only when there's nothing on tv.

my energy seemed to be incredibly low
like I was depressed or buried under snow
so now I have a personal trainer pushing my on every single podcast
he's a reject from the Biggest Loser and his metabolism's not fast
he will make sure that this show will not be slow and will be faster
