So here we are on Wednesday morning so drab
I have just downed some cereal that is fab
yesterday I ate some thing that just blew me away
it was at a restaurant in Oakland called the Brown Sugar Cafe
I ate a pulled pork sandwich that was better in my mouth
than any sandwich I had while I lived in the South
they also served a mashed yams that I really have to say
my wife and I looked at each other wondering why we don't eat there everyday
they were smoked!  Smoked yams!  Doesn't sound like it works but it works!
Meanwhile we send our prayers to North Alabama my former home afar
they're getting some big storms this week so we hope for no damage or harm.

Today we hear from Chely Shoehart the Giftshop Supervisor, Floyd the Floorman, and John Deer the Engineer, PLUS we bring you the segment WHY THE HELL DID I YELP THAT? and on NEWS RANDOM a free cool song from a cool group plus artist.

Tomorrow we'll bring you the segment MIKE ON MOBILE plus we'll hear from Benita the Rodeo Queen, the Disgruntled Fiddle Player, and the Brewmaster: three people that love smoked yams.  In fact, they smoke yams so often the government has put them in jail for too much secondary yam smoke.  The only negative of that is you start craving turkey, stuffing, gravy, and other rich foods.

So tomorrow's going to be leap day
there's some cool thing about that to say
if you're born tomorrow there are things you can't negate
like you'll age only every four years and that's great
getting an extra day to work on taxes is also a plus
course trying to get that together can drive you nuts
Oh and have you watched the tv show that PBS has on
it's called History Detectives and it has 9 seasons
they talk about stuff you never knew about...like how people from other countries used to be featured in exhibits at world fairs
that's something I can't understand about our history
the things are forefathers did were pure insanity...except inventing the phone...and electricity...and the combustible engine...not so happy about gas right now, however.

Today we hear from Madame Rootabega, Valentino the Parking Attendant, and Bison Bentley, PLUS we bring you the segment MIKE's CASSETTE CUBBYHOLE and on NEWS RANDOM has romance changed for the worse?

So no Sunday show yesterday
my wife and I made it a sight seeing day
we went to a place at the Port of Oakland
that was a park on some beautiful land
it's called the Middle Bay Shoreline Park
and it's right in the midst of where the cargo ships are
they took an old naval base and train station
and made a park with the view of SF in all its expansion
and then today I discovered a rebate card I got which I never used and it expired in July!
It was for five bucks but don't you hate
when you discover something like that way too late...like coupons...buy one get one free...almost filled sandwich or coffee cards with one left that get lost!
Today we hear from Benita the Rodeo Queen, the Disgruntled Fiddle Player, and the Brewmaster, PLUS we bring you the segment THE PAM BAUMGARDNER FILES and on NEWS RANDOM a band from where I used to live makes good!

Here we are it's Saturday
I think overall it's been okay
I think I should have just taken a pass
on today's show because I am without sass
I was listening to a podcast called "Never Not Funny"
and I guess I don't see how comedians can be sunny
when they're supposed to hate everything they see
it's a comedian's podcast that makes me feel like a hayseed
not that there's anything wrong with hayseeds.  They help grow hay which is something I hear horses love.
So that's pretty much my intro song for today
Maybe something wiser from my mouth will come my way....tomorrow if God's willing...though I'm sure He has more important things...like keeping Rick Santorum out of the White House.

So my wife found an article
online that was remarkable
it talked about the actual ages of celebrities
one's that aren't what they appear to be
Mariska Hargitay is 48 doesn't she look fab?
Her parents were the most beautiful she could have had
James Lipton from the Actor's Studio is in his mid 80's
that's shocking even if unlike him you like the ladies
and that one thin guy from Big Bang Theory is actually like 38!  He's almost 40 and he's playing a twenty year old.  Nice.
It's Friday and the celebration can begin
no matter if your old or young or whatever state you're in...here we go...another podcast from Mike.

I'm getting this podcast to you a little late in the day
I was busy with a new song I will later for you play
I was inspired by late 80's Van Halen
though you won't notice that at all I'm thinkin'
so another thing I hated about Las Vegas was
how every where you walked there someone that does
something like try to sell you night clubs and prostitutes
what's the deal with that?  That is so uncouth.
They try to put these cards in your hands even when you're walking with your wife.  WTF!?!
So this is show number 2 using my new computer
I hope that this show rocks and that it's not a pooper...I feel it will be fun...I could be wrong...I have been known to be so.

he said, when he won his award, I MADE THIS IN MY GARAGE!  No autotuning involved
as you know I'm not a fan of the autotune
let's be real on records and not eat a prune...those are gross...no autotunes or prunes is my new slogan.
